Roger Hohberger served the confectionery, bakery, cereal, and other food companies for more than 50 years. His life’s work involved the sales, engineering, design and start-up of many important installations serving well known global manufacturers, medium size, and smaller food manufacturers.
He was known as the “King of Candy” working alongside top professionals in the field and teaching regularly through his successful businesses, including Hohberger Manufacturing Co. and CandyWorx.
Roger was a proud member of the NCA, PMCA, AACT and a lecturer on fondant at the well known residence Candy School in Madison, WI that takes place each summer. His vast confectionery experience included high volume continuous production of fondant, fondant creme, hard candy, toffee, caramel, and many other industry standard products.
Sadly, Roger passed away in October 2023 after a battle with cancer. His confectionery legacy lives on through all the great engineers and leaders Roger worked with along the years.
